Booster RH is software that helps school booster clubs run their calendar, volunteer sign-ups, dues, and fundraisers. This policy explains what information we hold, why we hold it, and what control you have over it.
Booster RH is operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], [REGISTERED ADDRESS] ("we", "us"). Questions: hello@boosterrh.com.
Booster clubs use Booster RH to manage their own membership. The club — not Booster RH — decides who joins, what is recorded, and who on its board can see it. We store and protect that information on the club's behalf and do not use it for our own purposes.
| Information | Why |
|---|---|
| Parent/guardian name and email address | To create the family account, send dues and volunteer reminders, and let the board contact members. |
| Student first name, last name, and grade | To link a student to their club membership and track whether dues are paid. |
| Optional notes a family adds about a student | Free-text field the family chooses to fill in (e.g. an allergy or a jersey size). |
| Volunteer skills a family selects | Optional. Lets the board find help without emailing everyone. Entirely self-reported and can be cleared at any time. |
| Volunteer sign-ups (name, email) | To staff events and send a reminder before a shift. |
| Dues and payment records | To show what is owed and what has been recorded as paid. |
| Donations (donor name, email, amount, optional message) | To record fundraiser giving and thank donors. |
| Basic technical logs | Error reports and page-view counts, used to keep the service working. |
Booster RH holds limited information about students — name, grade, and whether their dues are paid. This information is entered by a parent or guardian, or by the club from a roster the school provides. Students do not create their own accounts except where a club specifically enables a student leadership seat, which requires club approval.
We do not serve advertising, we do not build advertising profiles, and we do not sell or rent information about any student or family to anyone, ever.
A parent or guardian may ask to see, correct, or delete information about their child at any time — see section 7.
Some club pages are deliberately public so families can share them. Public pages show only:
Family email addresses, student names, and dues status are never shown on a public page.
We send only operational email related to running the club: dues reminders, volunteer shift reminders, a weekly summary to board officers, and tax-deadline notices. We do not send marketing email to families, and we do not share family email addresses with third parties for marketing. Email delivery is handled by Postmark, our email provider.
You can view and edit your family's own information at any time by signing in. To request a copy of what we hold, a correction, or deletion, email hello@boosterrh.com from the address on the account, or ask your club's board to make the request.
We will respond within [RESPONSE WINDOW — e.g. 30 days]. If a club closes its account, its data is deleted within [RETENTION WINDOW — e.g. 90 days], except records we are required to retain for tax or accounting purposes.
Information is stored with our hosting provider, Supabase, on servers in the United States. Access is enforced at the database level rather than only in the app, so a request for another organization's data returns nothing even if it is made directly. Connections are encrypted in transit.
No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach affects your information we will notify affected clubs and families promptly and describe what happened.
We use a small number of providers to run the service: Supabase (database and hosting), Netlify (website delivery), and Postmark (email). They process information only to provide those services to us.
If we make a material change to this policy we will update the date at the top and notify club administrators by email.
