Terms of Service

Last updated: 27 July 2026

Before publishing: fill in the bracketed placeholders and have an attorney review — particularly sections 8 and 9, and the district agreement question in section 3.

These terms govern use of Booster RH, operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a booster club or school, you confirm you are authorized to do so.

1. What the service is

Booster RH is software for running a school booster club: a calendar, volunteer sign-ups, membership and dues tracking, fundraisers, and basic bookkeeping. We provide the tools. Your club decides how to run itself.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for activity under your account. Board access is granted by an existing administrator of that organization. Tell us promptly if you believe an account has been compromised.

3. Your organization's information

Information your club enters — families, students, dues, volunteers, finances — belongs to your club. We store and protect it on your behalf, use it only to provide the service, and never sell it. Our handling of it is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Your club is responsible for having the right to enter the information it enters — including any consent required from parents or guardians, and any agreement required with the school or district.

Decision needed: whether districts sign a separate data-handling agreement in addition to these terms. Most districts will expect one.

4. Money, dues, and donations

Booster RH does not process payments and never holds your club's money. Dues and donations are collected by your club directly, by whatever method the club already uses. Booster RH records what your treasurer enters. Any online payment shown in the app today is clearly labeled as a test and moves no real money.

Your club is solely responsible for handling its funds, for the accuracy of its records, and for its own tax filings. Features that help prepare a filing (such as the 990-N summary) are conveniences, not tax advice, and do not make us your accountant.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use Booster RH to:

We may suspend an account that puts other customers, students, or the service at risk.

6. Fees

Families never pay to use Booster RH. Organizations subscribe under the plan agreed at sign-up. Fees, billing period, and notice for changes are set out in your order or invoice. [PRICING AND BILLING TERMS TO BE COMPLETED]

7. Ending the service

Your club may stop using Booster RH at any time. On request we will provide an export of your club's information, then delete it as described in the Privacy Policy. We may end an account for non-payment or for a material breach of these terms, with reasonable notice where circumstances allow.

8. Availability and disclaimers

We work to keep Booster RH available and accurate, but the service is provided "as is". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Your club remains responsible for keeping its own records of anything it cannot afford to lose — particularly financial records.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost funds, lost data, or lost opportunity arising from use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount your organization paid us in the [TWELVE MONTHS] before the claim arose.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is material we will notify administrators by email and update the date above. Continued use after a change takes effect means you accept it.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [STATE], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
